I had to testify in court in DC yesterday and I wore “Ambrosia” layered with Ellie Saab’s “Girl of Now.” CHIIILLLLE! They almost had to stop proceedings! the security, the waiting room with other witnesses, my friend who had to go too and the ADA stopped to ask what I was wearing. It all started with the Vanilla Sugar line from B&BWorks. It was that I smelled like a Coconut Vanilla, Caramel pistachio, whipped banana dream machine for me… I coulda ate myself! Whew!

Yesterday I wore Ambrosia Imperiale with a splash of Roses Vanille by Mancera. The scent trail so absolutely amazing that everyone was in there asking each other was that them. One girl was like I don’t have on anything, the other lady well whoever that is smells good. It was a boozy, creamy sweet, floral scent with some musk in the 100 degree AZ heat killing it.

For the fellas, don’t shy away from layering unisex scents. I layer AI (Navitus) with YSL L’homme. I also layered it with the Most Wanted Parfum 🤯 (if you don’t want attention from ladies, don’t do it lol). Another good unisex layering combo is TT Kirke with Polo Red EDP 😮‍💨

First, I don’t have Oud Orange but I layered AI with VS Orange Flower Sun lotion & mist. Lord. Smells so pretty! I’ve also layered it with Ylang in Gold & my husband ate me up!! Lol! Chocolate Greedy & AI - yum!! Speaking of strawberries!! I layered - hear me out lol - Fall in Bloom cream and mist. Topped it off with Burberry Her. Let set while doing my eyeliner. Topped it Strawberry Snowflakes cream & spray. Finally I finished it with Si Fiori. My husband said that was one of the best combos he smelled on me. I did the same combo the next day without Fall in Bloom and he could tell something was off. Lol. That Fall in Bloom make that combo pop!! Anyways, thank you for all those layering ideas. Finally, my bottle of Ambrosia Imperiale is here! Here's my experience of it: when sugar cane is cut, the air smells sweet. There's the sharp sweetness of the grass itself and the sweetness of the juice of fresh sugar. If you've ever sucked sugar cane, you know how that sugar sweet burst of cane juice is like nothing you've tasted. The spice from the cinnamon is sharp but dries down and reminds of spiced rum. Lawd. The banana is *not* thick or overripe and over that, I experience sweet orange. I've worn it twice, so I will come back and give you my thoughts later.
