Some useful shortcuts: Making subdecks w/o having to drag (incase you use the web version, or app) - If the parent deck in this case is "Neurobiology" and your subdeck name is "Week 1", you should make the "Neurobiology" deck first, then for the subdeck "Week 1::Neurobiology". Using the double colon, "::" is used throughout Anki. For example in cloze deletion you can use the double colon after your hidden answer to provide a hint. So in the case of "What is the powerhouse of the cell? {{c1::mitochondria::organelle}}". When you see the card, it'll appear as "What is the powerhouse of the cell? [organelle]" other keyboard shortcuts include ctrl+enter to submit a card when you're done making a card, ctrl+shift+c to add a cloze blank (substitute "command" for mac's), when in review mode: spacebar to flip/reveal card, hit 1(hard), 2(good), 3(easy) to rate a difficulty (I believe spacebar auto-defaults to 2 as well, when you have to rate it)

I had NO idea you can drag cards. I have dozens of subdecks within subdecks within subdecks and had to spend forever manually adding/removing double colons. I wish I knew this earlier, it would've saved a lot of time and headache!

CTRL SHIFT 4 will make a screenshot but it saves to your desktop, that gets annoying after 100 cards. CTRL SHIFT CMD 4 will just copy it to the clipboard so you can paste it into Anki and not have annoying files cluttering your desktop :)

"Cloze" cards are no longer showing the "extra" or display images when added. In order to solve this please follow these steps: in an empty cloze card, add a new field and name it "extra" close the card and go to the main anki window and go to "tools" select "manage note types " select "cloze " select "choose cards " at the bottom center choose "add field" change field from "text to extra" change "add to": from "front to back" Press ok and try and see if works

Hello. Thank you for the content. I just wanted to confirm whether you do reviews for all of your decks everyday (ie. Do you use anki's algorithm or does the volume of new and review cards you have each day make it so that you only get through one or a handful of subjects per day?) I have started using anki with good results but am falling behind on reviews bc i tend to devote more time to the classes that I am soon to be tested on.
