That's a really useful analogy you used "when driving on the straight away you can go faster but, you have to slow down on the curve" 😊 I like to share your videos on Facebook and tag my nail 💅 salon so they can learn new tricks and designs 🌹😊

What a great tip to wait and remove the dead cuticle skin until right before the design work. I’ll definitely try this!

Thank you for this video. I just did a rebalance on myself today. I’m usually an acrylic girl, but since my granddaughter being born, I’ve been doing gel. I was a bit intimidated at first, but after a bit of practice 🤫shhhh ‘I think I’m converting to gel’ ❤️

Really enjoy you salon nails on clients Dorota, they’re my favourite! Wish I would’ve seen your work on those foils as they can sometimes be tricky and any hacks are always appreciated. Hope to see more client work soon, the nails looked gorgeous!💙

Thank you for this amazing video and explanation. Its so helpful and motivated me to try to do the rebalance for 35 minutes😯( Its takes me at least an 1,5-2 hours😁) First time I see someone to do the rest of cuticle work after the gel application, but it's make a sense. On my nail course they teaching us to do all the cuticle work before.

Do you concern yourself with maintaining the C-Curve of the free edge during the back fills or is that something that can only done with a fresh set? Love your work!!!

I don’t find it necessary but if you are concerned you can always take an arbor band and just touch that up a bit at the end

I love the mix of salon and home videos. Can you keep your eyes open for clients with upwards growing nails or whose sidewalls are not parallel (wider at the free edge)? My nails are like that and it can be so tricky working on them. I want to see how you’d work around those issues.

@@FXNNails Yup! I have 1 nail that grows down and I can fit a form on it in 1/3 the time it takes to fit a form on my ski jump nails. I'm sure you know all about that. :P

can you show the drill bits you use before each service, i can usually tell which most are but when the bit is moving i can't tell thanks

Do you ever file away the natural nail underneath? My clients don't like to see their natural nail under the extensions, so I'm having to file the backside of the extension.
@dorotapalicka3 жыл бұрын
Some clients natural nails are really nice then I keep it. Usually they wear shorter nails. For long nails expecially coffin shape new set every 3 months if clients want it. Sometimes drill underneath too. Or drill under and then paint glitter 😁 but drilling under is time consuming too.
@debijusnailzz20213 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I have found when I lift the growing down nail and file underneath I get a flat area. I go under the nail with the cleaner bit and reshape the underside so it is more convex again. Is that something you do as well?

How long it should take to finish gel infill?
@dorotapalickaАй бұрын
Salon quality 2h is good. My shortest time was 34min. But when started eas taking 4h.
@sosofara4724Ай бұрын
@ thanks for replying, it’s my beginning in salon but they expect me to finish gel infill in 60 minutes, so this is why I am wondering how long it takes. You are very good, I learned a lot from your videos. Thanks

It seams easy when i am not doing it. Much harder when i work on my nails. I almost always forget to stop and overfile. I make them verry thin and they break easely.
