Please help me. So I have a 87 samurai 5speed. My motor is a 90 suzuki swift 1.3l dohc. So do I order a rear main seal for a samurai or for the swift? Thank you

I installed my rear main seal and largely used this as my reference. Everything went together without fuss just like in the video. Sadly, I think my rear main seal is leaking upon reinstallation of the engine and running it a bit. Did I just get unlucky? What if anything should I do differently next time?

why didn't you guys use oil for the main seal? What's going to keep those components from rusting in the future?

+ilikewhatiwatch2011 Good question. We applied assembly lube to the rear seal surface of the crankshaft when we installed crankshaft back in Video #1 of this series. You are absolutely right. We should have mentioned that in this video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
