Easy to follow and thorough step by step tutorials do it yourself (DIY) to help you with your broken lawn and garden equipment including snowblowers.
I do my best to teach you how to easily diagnose problems the fastest, quickest and most efficient way with real repairs beyond just replacing a spark plug. These tips are for both the homeowner and shop owner.
Whether it be a handheld, two stroke, two cycle engine like a chainsaw, weed eater, weed wacker, string trimmer, grass trimmer, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, strimmer, brush cutter, leaf blower, or four stroke, four cycle units like a lawnmower, wood splitter, lawn tractor, snowblower, pressure washer, generator or a ride on mower that needs parts installed or replaced, I’m your go-to guy.
My favorite brands of spark plugs are NGK and Champion and are the ones I recommend.
I’ve been a small engine mechanic for many decades and also run my own repair shop so my videos are loaded with tips and tricks that I have learned and want to share with you. You will also find many tool and product reviews from top brands on my channel as well.

Thankyou . I followed your tutorial and just fixed my first small engine carby. I bought a brand new Echo blower and have been constantly having engine flooding problems for the last 2 weeks so I pulled apart this morning and found the lever was barely adjusted. I followed how to lift the lever and make level and now she starts instantly. Problem was driving me crazy not being able to use but now I know how to fix so much appreciated.

Very good. Though when I do the pressure check I take it to where it pops off or opens. Around 15 psi. Then monitor tester to see where it re-seats. Should be around 5 psi. Needle should be wet per Walbro but I usually forget to do it anyhow. Thanks again.

Most everything from SCAMAZON is direct from China and not real deal Walbro parts. They are copies of the originals. Doubt you saved anything. To the contrary, probably have to order another kit to make it run right. Stay off of Amazon for mower slash trimmer parts.

thanks! the diaphragm was missing on the carb of an 026 I recently acquired and I couldn't figure out where it went ...the saw was a mess... it was not idling when i got it it was revving really high... I got it to idle perfectly by pure luck.. the gasket was missing on the metering diaphragm side and the diaphragm on the other side was also missing.. it would start on the first pull and i got it to idle and run perfectly this way lol.... then I ran it in winter mode on a super hot day and it started flooding no matter what I did. Took apart the carb and noticed the gasket missing. Then when i got the rebuild kit I noticed the translucent diaphragms for the other side which wasn't on the carb and had no idea where it went.. thanks your video really helped! :)

I was once rebuilding a chain saw carburetor on our patio table, it was a nice warm day. I had just cleaned everything using my ultrasonic cleaner and had it sitting on a piece of cardboard on the table. I had just opened the package of parts and lay them out on the cardboard to get ready to assemble it. Suddenly a gust of wind blew the sheet of cardboard off the table and I watched as it flipped over the rail into my ferns and other plants below the deck. I almost died! Luckily, all the parts had dropped straight onto the deck, not over the rail. I was able to find all the parts, even that fine spring and the screen! After that, I learned to tape or use a weight on cardboard when working outside. Mabe my wife will let me build a workbench on the deck next summer!

You Polk a hole ( carefully ) in the old one and remove it. Clean the passageway and put the new plug ( round Ed side facing out ) in and put a small dimple in the rounded hump to force it against the side of the hole to seal the hole. That’s it.

I watched this a couple times, then when I couldn't start my McCulloch Pro Mac 10-10 due to a fuel issue, I removed the carb, took the metering cover and diaphragm off, discovered the metering lever had been adjusted way too low, starving it for fuel. I readjusted it, then checked the High and Low mixture screws, found the High was 1 turn out and the Low was 2 1/4 turns out! Somebody before me probably rebuilt this carb without checking the height of the metering lever! Thanks for this very detailed instruction video, it really saved the day for me. Be safe and have a great day!

Dony I wonder If you have ever replaced a non primer bulb carb with a carb that incorporates a primer bulb. I have a Maruyama bc184 trimmer that has not been behaving for the past four years. I have rebuilt the Walbro carb twice using the kits but still gives me fits. Where it used to take a pull or two now takes twenty to start. I wish the carb had a primer bulb, are all of these replacement string trimmer carbs equal bolt ons? I know I would have to add a fuel line for vacuum to the the fuel tank but wondering if it's possible.
