If you slow down , use a higher quality camera, zoom in, and explain what you are doing this video would be one of the greatest. it's great but I don't know what you are doing most of the time.

well mr. eksine. I would love to make higher quality videos and I should. It is a lot of work to film, produce and also run my business! Subscribe and I will put together one for you in the next couple of weeks. I did read your other comment though. Hello, Thanks for the video. We have a 1990 Honda Accord with an automatic transmission. My son's first car and we just changed the timing belt. Now this. When shifting into reverse it makes a grinding noise but does not engage. Drives fine in all forward gears. Will cleaning screens or replacing the solenoids have any effect in this case? Could the shift linkage be out of adjustment. Also, sometimes the transmissions shifts fine into reverse. Is it controlled by pressure? We have only had this problem two days and can't make rhyme or reason why? The car is probably only worth $1000 but we have spent that much fixing it up besides. Appreciate any tips you might offer. Thank you for your time. It is much appreciated.

hey how's it going? I was wondering if you could offer me some advice. my accords transmission has been slipping for a few years now, so I picked up a used transmission. it's said to have somewhere around 100k miles on it with no slipping issues. should I have it rebuilt before I put it back in or is there a way to have it dyno tested in order to make sure it is working properly? I don't plan on switching it out until my transmission really starts giving me trouble, so I have some time to do research. any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated. it has been drained by the way, and is from a 98 2.3 accord and going into a 99 2.3 accord

To please this generation of crybabies is indeed a impossible task. This guy is taking some of his precious time to film his job, sharing some of his knowledge but people still bash on him no matter what. It's a disassemble video, to explain what every single part is is unnecessary. Get a service manual and, along with this video you'll know it. Other people can't do everything you want the way you want. This is real life. Grow up.

But 3rd to 4th after 41km/ph. No meter the engine load and the rpm. But the RPM normal at this point much 1800rpm. Than 4th to 5th above 61km. Again no load meters no RPM. It seems car run in OPEN LOOP mode. Please any suggestions. ? No DTC at all.

What does it cost to get a transmission inspected? I bought a 2003 honda element with 158,000 miles and want to see about getting transmission inspected.
@psions5553 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by inspected? Generally automatic gearboxes are not disassembled until they have a serious fault. ATF fluid level and quality are usually the first things that are checked but you can do that from home. If your fluid is a good colour and the transmission has no issues it's best to leave it alone and just keep up with the service schedule.

If I was caught using a `plumbers wrench' I would have been fired, also 'mole grips' and adjustable wrenches were not allowed in a tool kit unless you are a plumber of course. a proper spanner or sockets only were allowed and that is all I use today. Also a screwdriver is a screwdriver not a bloody lever, there are pry bars for that job and as for using a screw driver instead of a drift, aggghh sacked! . this guy is an untrained bodger and I wouldn't let him within a mile of my transmission... Also CLEAN job BEFORE disassembly so crap doesn't fall into the work , god how standards have dropped in 50 years.
@OKxMaliboo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy. You might be right I could have shown more proper tools to use in this video. But what is the fun in that? I have rebuilt hundreds of these over they years and it's less about the tools used but rather the skill and knowledge behind them. But you do you man.
