I got a fleck system : Sediment tank, Neutralizer tank, and Water softener. 28 years . I replaced 1 little motor, and new valve assembly a couple times each tank. My well water has been very dirty sometimes, but this filter system cleans it up perfectly. I fill or replace the media myself too.

Why engineers don't prefer to use selonoid valves to contol the water ? for more smooth pass ? or not to stress the tank ? thank you

So I have a fleck 2510. Mines was making a bubble sound and and after I did a manual regen the water just kept running. What can be wrong?
