Didn't use my ps5 in a while, turned it on, uninstalled a bunch of games, bought and downloaded a couple more that kept crashing. Cleaned my PS5 did everything I could think of. Once I rebuilt my database next time I fired it up a bunch of system and game updates kicked off, storage space was totally different etc etc. Something was definitely messed. But after rebuilding and getting everything updated I'm good to go!!! It works!

Thank you so much. Oh my God this finally fix my issue!!! My issue was DBD looked very weird on the DLC part. I thought my PlayStation was broken. I was about to send it back in to Best Buy turns out it was just not downloaded correctly. Thank you this resolved the issue 100% !!!!!!!

I've had about 6 crashes trying to play Helldivers 2 over the last few days, I was about to extract with a great team of randoms and it crashed just before I got out 🙄, we had so many common and rare samples 😡 I haven't done this for a while on my PS5, hope it fixes the issue with this game 🤞

I understand your situation but it's not playstation sport it's no one sport it basically is just the way it the game is broken and the devs are the only one who's can fix it unfortunately the game launch I had lots of problems and everyone else did I had lots of crashes sometimes it would crash the console At the beginning it was a very recurring thing but they are bringing updates to fix it but unfortunately they're the only ones that can really fix the situation playstation there's nothing they can do

So the the console is fine sometimes its the game , yes helldivers will crash alot due to the new updates so its usually not the ps5 but the broken state of the game right now , i have some friends with new ps5 and strong pc’s and the game still manages to crash

BRUUHH..I'm in the middle of the mw2 beta and crash....other day I'm trying to watch peacock an crash 🤦🤦🤦🤦 and like you said so far every time it's happened ...the ps5 seems to be a little on the hot side (mine is vertical) so it's really only the bottom that's hot the top is fine ...I wonder if laying it down would make any difference AT ALL as far as it cooling more efficiently 🤔 ??any ideas??

My main issue is the console hard crashing while the external hard drive is connected. It only has happened while playing ps5 games off the ssd and while downloading games to the external. Each time the console had to repair the ssd and the external drive when it restarted. If it happens to much the whole console can die. don't think rebuild database can help but at least it won't ruin my damn folders like ps4 would lol

Console will not die you will just need to redownload the firmware on a sub many people don't know if there console is bad they just need an update or a hard refresh via usb and the console will function sometimes better than from the factory I have issues w outages I sometimes have to download firmware 3x a year if not tearing will effect my fps and also the input delay

When you click 5.&1. Options it's delete ur games, saved datas and Gallery. When you click 5.&2. Options it's only rebuild your data and NOT delete any from ur console.
