Great video. My printer now works. I damaged the magenta drum and the printer wouldn't accept the 'compatible' replacement. I fitted the new glass drum into the old plastic carriage and IT WORKS! Keep up the good work.

yes, you can use isopropyl alcohol to clean the drum

i already disassemble and assemble the drum brother hl-3150cdn all the four drums of the unit, still it display "DRUM! Slide the Green Tab" still does'nt resolve the issue.

There is a problem with the corona wire, try to clean all contacts between printer and corona unit. Clean the corona wire and the metal grid with alcohol

I cleaned mine as lines were coming on print now it showes green button error cleaned many times dont know wat to do? Brother 9020

@@viandant5 drum error slide green button have done all cleaning rest every thing not working. Printer has done 3100 prints. Spoke to customer service they say change all drums.

@@muhammadali-kv6bu The green button is the green button to clean the corona wire. try to slide it left to right some times. In my opinion you have not to change all drums, you'll waste money. The problem is into the printer

You have 1 F*ck up in here. 3:19 on the left side, the L shaped plastic is oriented the wrong way in your video. (even when you opened it up it was the wrong way.)

I couldn't even get the drum bushing back on on the left side unless I switched the lever around. Still a very helpful video
