I think that if someone wants to find their soulmate the best way to do that is to 100% align with the core of who they are. But I have read a lot about soulmates and twin flame. There is a difference. You can have multiple soul mates in one life, they can be lovers, friends, pets. Name it. They, indeed help you with your life path, it is a smooth relationship. Twin flames however, is the other part of your soul. One soul split in two. It is very intense, can be positive or negative. You will instantly know who your twin flame is. It is intense because they are you and it can be very confronting. That's why a lot of twin flames are not together because they can't handle it. I think you hit the nail on the head with this one, ralph. You're absolutely right, we do seem to pay attention first to the physical, then the mental, and then the emotional. That's a part of human nature though. I think since beginning of the time as we evolved, our most primal urges stemmed from procreating with a person you found physically attractive. What we are attracted too however, is what makes us wanting to get to know more about the person. Having said that, even a beautiful face will not make up for a woman who is incredibly rude to people, or is just a nasty person in general. So are looks everything? Absolutely not. Personality and heart ultimately trump in the end. But, I feel everyone in general wants to be attracted to every aspect of the person they are dating, mind, body and soul. I think your soul mate however will always see you as being perfect no matter what, and love you unconditionally.

A soulmate is any who helps you intensely with your evolutionary process. That will be anyone on your own vibrational level. If you have a lot of healing to do and unresolved issues, you will attract a narcissist/sociopath as your soulmate. It will be a narcissistic abuse relationship- but that has an evolutionary purpose! And yes the learning only takes places after no contact is established. I do have to disagree that what I said is misinformation. I used to think that soulmate meant only the flowery good positive kind of "soulmate", but based on the fact that narcissistic and sociopathic relationships resemble positive soulmate relationships in many ways- the attraction to the same vibrational level (codependents are also vibrating at a lower emotional frequency like narcissists), and, including the fact that they force you to evolve to a higher level, I have to categorize this as also another type of soulmate relationship- just of the lower vibrational order. Yes it is a false self and an illusion but I think the positive and negative soulmate are both 2 sides of the same coin and oftentimes the narcissistic relationship is necessary

Great vid, Ralph! You have to know that your partner compliments you perfectly. Like you said, they reflect you (your essence) not your ego. You have to be whole on your own! Don't mistake a rollercoaster relationship for something beautiful. The highs may feel so great that they force you to endure the lows. But they are dirty highs. You have to examine whether you truly resonate with your partner or whether they just make you feel better about yourself. Sometimes its tough to tell, but awareness is key. I found my soulmate at 17 years old. I met him last week and just realized it today with all the research I’ve been doing. I just knew from before I even met him I would always want to be his friend and be around him even though I had never talked to him until he got a class together. I can't even begin to explain in extreme detail what my journey has been leading up to finding the one. I can say for 7 months sinve the day we met I've been following my heart with my soul mate. And I say that with every bone in my body and every peice of my soul. This video and the "how to know who is meant for you" video, has floored me. It described us so exactly it is as if it was my words being spoken. Before today I never looked into what a soul mate was... I was not sure I had one out there. But since I met him we have been intertwined is this beautiful way. Although timing hasn't been ideal and we took time apart after a short while in. He went back to his toxic previous relationship for a short period of time, and came right back to me, was pulled back. Normally I'd have never let that sort of thing be ok. However he was honest (we are both honest and emotional) about it all, all I could think about was how we gave eachother this relaxing energy so I didn't put up my ususl wall....I knew it wasn't the end. You speak of being pulled back together ...and it happened. Both of us couldn't stop it despite timimg...life...etc. so we kept back on... became committed and in love. I know he is meant for me the same way I know I am alive. Now though, he has wavered again. He said he needs to take time to heal from that bad karmic relationship, and is overwhelmed with work on top of it. (new business. kids. life). I feel he is afraid of this that we have. I am too I'm a way because neither of us were looking for commitment. we just are so drawn to eacother. Emotionally mentally..physically and the attraction is just beyond because of the joy we share. When I think about waiting for him to come back it gives me a sense of calm. It's like I just know he is going to return. When I think about letting him go it destroys me to think I could give up on this and it makes me feel the worst hurt I've ever had. Before this true love. before this ... water relationship... both of us were in such toxic...what you call coca cola relationships. When you are in one it is like you are blind. I was as if the drama makes you stay because you give, and give and give so much... you just keep trying to stay to get the energy back. This relationship is the complete opposite of any I've ever known. My mind is just shocked at how it mirrors everything in your video. I feel I am right to wait it out, but some people might say I am going to hurt myself if I keep having hope. People that truly know him and I know how happy we are and are lost for words for advice. Hindsight is so interesting when it comes to soul mates. One of the biggest things about knowing I was with "the one" was the honesty with myself. I felt I had to shut away every mental complaint I had with the my relationships before. They treat you right, you're happy, there's no one I'd rather be with.... but the truth was I wouldn't let myself be honest because I started to doubt that there was anyone better so I should make the best of what I had. Letting myself be honest to myself was the key to finding my him. And he was everything I thought was too good to be true or too unrealistic to even dream of. It's that person who understands you.... I mean deeply. That understanding that you long for but think you'll be the only one to ever understand yourself that well. You have a stronger communication than words and the "honeymoon" phase never really dies out. I can't help but want to be with him as often as I can and the same can be said for him. This video made me accept that I am in love with the wrong person. I've always known but couldn't live to that fact, until a while ago. I don't know what to do now. It's unrequited after all, but as imperfect as we are together, we are still best friends and we help each other out even if it can tire us both when we do fight - seeing as we don't reflect each other too much. They're lacking emotions and I am rich with them. They repress their anger, and I am intensely expressive. Love and tears that come so naturally for me don't happen with them. As a result? I come off as "too much" to them, whereas their insensitivity would often hurt me. Despite that, we are moving towards the same direction : personal growth, with self-admittedly very little improvement on their side. I'm so at loss. I've tried to move on but I couldn't afford losing him.

I do draw a distinction between "soul mate" and "twin flame" though. I see a twin flame as something that has a deeper metaphysical reference to it and assume that it has become interchangeable due to the subjective nature of interpretation. For the majority of your audience it will not be a good thing for a new relationships to feel "strangely familiar' as so much of the time what feels most familiar is abuse that we may actually think of as love.
