Great video guys! Thanks for featuring two of our very inexpensive mics 😉😉😉. Loved the BBC lore at 8:47, explains a lot.

Man, so many great things in a single video. I need to try out that 'use DI for reverb' trick, sounds really interesting!

This is freaking great! Thank you so very much! I've been trying to get a good acoustic guitar recording sound and I know it's not my guitars. It's me using the wrong microphone. I am next going to try my SM57 and see what happens. Great to see you with Warren. He's amazing!

I'm a masive fan of Warren, and know his mic techniques inside out. I have the LCT 140 Air, and it's great in the "Warren Huart" position! I also found, if you want a massive acoustic guitar sound (see my "Stoned Me" video), you just pull it further away and it's huge. Great vid guys!

Warren is the man!!! Great vid guys! I knew about using different sources for reverb, but the hi hat bleed in the snare mic is something I didn't consider with regards to reverb on the snare! Awesome!

Wow I've been doing it wrong then. I thought you dropped the mic inside the guitar.

Great ideas and points here, especially the idea of overloading the diaphragm altering mic performance and the captured sound. Really interested in these Lewitt mics ever since I saw Warren's review of them. Hard to believe you can get such great quality at so little cost - great news for novice home studio engineers on a budget like myself! Has anyone done a shootout of these mics against the Oktava MK-012s, Lauten LA-120s, Rode NT5s, and Avantone CK-1s? I am considering all of those as well, would love to hear other users' thoughts. Thanks & best regards, Seán

Ok so apparently mixing a ‘cutaway’ in the below fretboard position is out the window. Where else can it be mic’ed with good results?

Awesome video but there was some crackle in the sound that was kind of annoying and could not be unheard once noticed.

yeah Warren's mic was bumping against a button on his shirt I think, nothing we could do about it haha

Honestly you did an amazing video but the homie on the acoustic guitar was fucked up your video and i'm speaking to him specifically he was constantly trying to escape i know he didn't think it out much it might have been something he BARELY wanted to do but it shows he seems like a very cool guy but he fucked up and it's on youtube forever. To save some face he was still right and dope i know he wanted to be somewhere else but he lacked patience tbh he was just learning. Imagine a homie learning for the first time and Gear GODS straight up schooling him.
