Hey Chris thanks for all the great videos! Did you ever upload more videos in this video series?

You should check out the tascam dr10l. Much smaller than the rode link pack you're using, dual record, solid sound!

As a field recorder and s musician I love mine. The 4 track tape mode is awesome and you can easily get tons more tracks if you know what your doing. You can easily make demos of songs on this thing.

Hi Chris. Thanks for this great video. Can you record ambiant sound and line at the same time? Which lens do you use on your video backup camera that you talking about in this video?
@ChrisTurnerPhotographer5 жыл бұрын
You can have 2 mics going into the recorder no problem. And lens just depends on the ceremony

Chris Turner thanks for your reply. But can I use the onboard mic with xlr input at the same time?

Hey Chris great video. Have you ever had a groom not want to wear a lapel and then the couple decide not to use the hand held microphone? This keeps happening to me and always on windy days so the audio never comes out great. I've tried hiding a lapel in the archway... Which once blew over and pulled the mic out. And normally have a shotgun mic hidden away with a wind sock but it's usually not good enough to pick up soft spoken vows. Any ideas on how to get around these issues or am just getting unlucky? Cheers :)

I’ve never had that but if he didn’t want to wear one then I’d make it clear they probably wouldn’t get audio. Nothing you can do
