Come with me on this challenge of recording a Street Videography film in the Subway station where I basically record strangers and at the end try to create a cinematic film :)

Last time I had a camera on my hand I was harassed by a bigger dude who said I was recording the bus driver, it was traumatic. The bus driver didn’t care but the guy made a huge scene about me invading privacy and it’s for his safety although I wasn’t even recording I was holding the camera, i wanted to do a clip of me scanning my bus pass on the machine 😅anyways thanks for sharing your joy with us, love from Canada ❤glad you didn’t have any issues 😊

@@jaminerodrigues ooo I'm glad you were able to walk away, right now I just use my phone because I'm scared of those interactions, but looking at your shots they're sooo wonderful I might reconsider. I was on the bus so I couldn't walk away although I contemplated leaving and getting on the next bus but my pass was expiring, thank goodness the guy got off the next stop but he made me feel so embarrassed

cool video, you can actually turn off the recording lights on the fx30 completely to be more stealthy, i do this when recording at the gym so it's not as intimidating for other people

Absolutely love your colors. Wondering if you could weigh in on something for me. I currently own the a6700, and wanted to get more into video. My dilemma is trying to decide to go with the zv-e1 or fx30, I know the fx30 is apsc so I could use my current lens, but also heard that you can do a trick on the zv-e1 with dynamic stabilizations 30% crop which pretty much lets you use apsc lens, and also that low light beast. Hard decision

I think because I came from a country where safety is questionable (Brazil, Sao Paulo) Toronto feels very safe to me. I believe you got to test the waters.. Start with a neighbourhood you feel extra safe, than expand to different regions :)

@jaminerodrigues

Is legal filming as long is on public spaces with no tripod. But is really important to be ethical about it, I would never bother someone’s day for a take. So far people has been very nice, they approach me and they like being on the video, but if someone didn’t like that I would delete the footage right away. Hope it answers your questions 🫶🏽
