You can always just bounce those 8 drum tracks to the master track 12 then swap it over to track 10. That would free up your first 8 tracks again.

Not really, the video was about LIVE recording. No bouncing at a live recording. So, that was the whole point of the video. I made a different video about bouncing tracks. Obviously, bouncing tracks to clear up room is a recording/mixing/MTR function, and not a live recorfin operation. Check out my video on how to bounce tracks on the Tascam M12.
