Thank you so much for this. I am new to bass and have actually been playing bass on my worship team through an app on my iPad and a controller. My mom passed in 2019 and at the time I needed to keep busy because its my way of dealing with things. I wanted to do more than sing on the worship team so I volunteered to learn new stuff. We needed a bass player and there ya have it. I bought a bass guitar and am about to transition to it but wanted something that would help me practice while at home or really anywhere. This has really been helpful, thank you so much for doing this. Please do more. Btw did I leave out that I'm a 52 yr old grandma too. Yeah, I like a challenge. 😆 thanks again.

Thank you for this video, very helpful. I'm finally getting my bass guitar, I had to sell all my instruments when I was coming to the USA (painful decision), and now after 3 years I'm getting a bass guitar (with credit, but I really miss playing bass). In the past I used my laptop and the Behringer USB interface, nothing fancy, I still have that interface, and using the Amplitube software. After these years I was wondering how to start practicing and recording, and this video is good, very helpful. Thank you Daric! :)

I use an iPad Air and the irig hd2 to record into garage band. I use a Roland go mixer to record cover videos on the iPad. Both good budget options for those like me that don’t have an iPad with usb-c. I also have a Scarlett 2i2 but use that with a pc. I haven’t bought the adapter to power the 2i2 from the iPad Air with the lightning connector, but thinking about it.

turns out you dont even need the adapter, I've had an electric guitar for a while but no amp, im sitting here watching this and Im about to go order the adapter and I realize my Ipad came with a usb-c to usb-c cable that can connect the ipad to my interface and now Im having a great time this is awesome
