@Daniel About Tech : I am currently in the process of restoring my iPhone XS Max from backup due to it running out of space while on iOS 12. Part of this restore includes a mandatory update to iOS 15.2. To my horror, I’m seeing that all of my previously-open Safari browser tabs have been lost. This has never happened to me before when updating from one iOS to another or upgrading from one iPhone to another. Is there any hope of recovering my old tabs? The restore is still not complete, so I’m hoping that the Safari tabs will be opened up later in the process, as my iCloud data continues to download to my phone. But honestly, I’m worried that they’re gone, since I’m well familiar with Apple’s habit of throwing hand grenades into tried and true procedures for no reason. Please let me know if you think that the tabs are actually going to be downloaded from iCloud before the restore completes, or if you think there’s a way to recover them. Thanks for any assistance that you can provide!

What about photos? iCloud deleted 22,000 of my photos and nothing is in the recently deleted file. Please help! I have tried everything. I have a backup on my computer but when I try to transfer the photos to my ipad it won’t let me do it because Apple converts all the files in the dcmi folder to iCloud folders and they need to be Apple files. I can’t add new folders eight. Ugh! Hate the stupid icloud. Never had this problem until I used the icloud. Thanks.

It really don’t work it’s really the same thing you can do on your phone with recently deleted files. Anything after 30days it’s permanently Deleted. It’s just your doing it on ur pc instead if your phone. My video files in FILES app randomly and completely DISAPPEARED and were not in the recently deleted or restore files option. Were my files in the FILES app saved to the icloud? What happens when I delete an old apple id and it asked me to delete all contact and reminders, what do I do. go ahead, and then when I logged into iPhone, with a new apple id, will I be able to recover the cloud information of the old apple id? the problem is, ever since I stop service and reconnect my service again with a phone/internet provider-- it gave me "a new phone number" ---and I no longer can access "the old apple id" like I had before, even on the same iPhone....this is the why I needed to create a new apple id, now. but do I have to lose all my contact info when I sign into the phone? or must I go ahead and copy everything?
