Good if you just want to do some quick tests, but not good for practical applications, I advise to clarify this to your audience. Any electronics engineer know this is not a good idea, diodes will overheat and your power consumption will be super high, you are almost doing a short circuit, guys, do not try this for real applications. For a long term solution look for Step down voltage converters OR Step down voltage converters
