What’s up cousins?! You guys were loving my mini twists in yesterday’s video, so since I didn’t record the install... I decided to record myself refreshing them! Side Note: it was my first time using the refresher spray I used in this video, so I’m not going to mention it until I know how I like it. But if you want my recommendation, I say just go for some aloe vera juice! 💦❤️ Love you guys!

I like twists..but my hair is so fine i would need to put 200 of them in to make it look descent...im scared to make too many small twists that are hard AF to take down...so im just gonna enjoy your twists for now...lol

I have to make mine small because I have fine hair but if you make sure not to borrow hair while twisting it’s easier to take down. Also spray your hair with a mixture of aloe Vera juice and water before taking them down and it works wonders!!

I’m glad I watched this video! My ends look just like yours. While I figured it was because that part of my hair Is older, which is why it looked thinner & not as “juicy” . I’ve been trimming them here & there only because I didn’t like the way they looked. Now I know that it’s fine & I should step away from the shears!😂😂 of course I still do my maintenance trims

I needed to see this video because I just did my mini twist and think 🤔 going through and individually smoothing product and removal shed hair will prevent tangles and matting at the ends. 😊👍🏽. I’m also keeping my hair stretched as well. Thank you for the tips 😁

Your hair couldn’t be any more different than mine. I have extremely kinky 4c hair (but it’s very fine though). I follow a lot of youtubers who seem to have the same texture as mine. But your methods, and often times, even the products you like seem to work so much better for me. This is crazy.

Just goes to know to show what I saw all the time. This whole 4a 4b 4c thing really doesn't help people but to be able to understand how a style may LOOK on their hair. But not how something can WORK for your hair. That's more about density, porosity and yes.. strands (ie. fine vs. thick). We can learn so much from each other if we stopped getting caught up in these "hair types". I'm glad I was able to give you a few good tips! ❤️

Great video! they look so good! i tried mini twists a few months ago and i couldn't be bothered while styling so they became small-medium twists and they only lasted like a week and a half. lol if i ever try them again maybe ill try the tip of stop twisting a little ways up, thanks!

@@FinallyAmber We have very similarly textured hair (low porosity and fine). Your tips have been especially helpful. Adding my leave-in, moisturizer and oil in the shower made the most noticeable difference. When I can't do that, I have found that warming my products in hot water gives me the same results if not better. I also warm my moisturizer when I am refreshing my WAG. hey, these look really good. Is it actually safe to constantly twist your hair with gel? For some reason, I had the idea that putting gel on all your strands (not your scalp) all the time was not good? (the only gel i use is ecostyler and wetline like in your video)

I am a type 4b natural low porosity fine hair strands and I am struggling with single strand knots and knotting at the roots. I moisturize consistently, i use rice water sometimes, i always deep condition and wash every week. Any advice to keep off the single strand knots

*CUZINNN!* ❤Idk why but mini twists don't like me very much. I shed a lot of hair when I take them out for some reason. Plus I'm scared of accidentally snatching off my hair in the front. I braid my hair in 4 sections, put my wig on and call it a week lol🤗

Kiki's Kurls are you shedding a lot of hair or is it just the hair that can’t normally shed when it’s free? Sometimes we can think a protective style is making us shed more hair, when really, it’s just normal. We shed anywhere from 50-100 strands PER DAY. This doesn’t change when our hair is twisted. It just can’t come out until we unravel. ❤️

This definitely wasn't prerecorded. I recorded this last night and edited this morning. I did my mini twists last week and haven't touched them until last night 🤷🏾‍♀️ But yes... if you want long, healthy hair, and it's not in a protective style... I definitely recommend restyling your hair every 3-4 days. I've said this so many times on my channel. lol So you're probably right. A lot of us have super healthy hair because we take care of it and we create content full time for you guys showing how we do! ❤️

Yeah! you're the reason I stopped trying to just Co wash and only wash my hair once a month. I work out way too often and like being outside too much and my hair just felt heavy all the time. its finally growing now to the point I can see it.. and it just feels good to feel hot water on my scalp.
