How to refurbish Saeco Royal part 1

Thank you Milen! Over the past 2 years I've made 3 repairs to my Saeco Royal Professional, with the help and guidance of your video's. If I'd sent the machine to my local repair shop it would have cost me hundreds of dollars. Not to mention, I would have been without the machine for weeks while it was being repaired. So far it's cost me about $25 in parts. Thank you! You're the best!

Great videos. I have a Royal Cappuccino with an issue where nothing is coming out of the dispenser. It tries for a few seconds, then shows Ventilate. I suspect a blockage somewhere, but not sure where? The Steamer and Hot Water work fine. Any ideas?

I have an identical model, saeco royal, and it doesn't wash when I turn it on. can it be set to wash? Thanks

Hi Milen. I own a Saeco Royal Professional. It is very similar to this Royal Digital. My unit is not clearing the "Ventilate" code. I cannot make the steam wand work. I took to a Saeco repair shop and was told that the "solenoid valve" dispensing hot water and steam to the steam wand was defective. The problem is that when they called to get the valve from Saeco distributor they were told it is no longer available. They tried other sources without any luck. I am writing you to see how I can get a replacement solenoid valve for my unit, even if it is a used one. It seems ridiculous that I cannot use my unit any more because I cannot replace the solenoid valve. Please help!!!

Hi Milen, your collection of instructive videos on refurbishing the Saeco Royal Cappuccino have been a gold mine for me. I have successfully reassembled the entire machine after fitting new gaskets and O rings to most components including the boiler. When I restart the machine it instructs me to Ventilate, however the usual process of pushing the hot water button does nothing. I'm guessing there are air locks in many of the components I serviced (eg water pump, boiler, various hoses etc.) What else can I do to clear this?
