I'm bringing a Factory five cobra kit car into CA. The car has a MO title for a 1965 FORD and bill of sale. Can I skate through the DMV without inspections?

You may be able to register it in CA but it might require inspections. We can instead register it out of state. We would just need photos of the documents that you currently have. You can email them to [e-mail] and we can review them.

Hey brother I am trying to buy a kit car 1965 Shelby cobra from a dealer out of state. The dealer is in Charlotte and I live in California. But the dealer won’t sell the car to me because they said I need to provide them a kit car voucher from my local dmv otherwise they won’t sell the car to me. Because supposedly California only allows 500 kit cars per year to be registered. I already called the dmv and said there in no such thing as vouchers. Any suggestions I I should do?
