Contact the practice. Access to records is post a confirmation process and not automatic

Hello, I have power of attorney for my mother who has dementia, my question is how can I get her added to my NHS app? We are registered at different surgeries and this was the barrier when I tried to do it when it first came out, it may have been updated since then but i have no idea how to find out. Thanks clare

I had to download the app to an old motorola G8 and sign up on that. i don't know why I bothered, have found out since using the app that my surgery are not connected to that. also they have stopped using System online. It, gets better. to think I stood outside my house applauding the NHS. Hawei 10 lite phone doesn't connect to photo and cam

With the current data issues it may be taking longer. Average time is 15 mins - 2hrs.

Not all practices have switched on the function to see records. You will need to contact them to switch on for you if not done automatically.

For full access your GP practice needs to switch on. For covid vaccine data only it should not

Unfortunately,the app is not supportive to all mobile phones. I had to send a video of me stating numbers,but would not let me open camcorder, also you cannot pre record a video, because you have to go through the process of proof from the beginning. I wouldn't imagine many old people would of not signed up to this complicated set up, and I regard myself fairly technically minded

Most systems will not allow you to record a consultation as the storage of data is a key GDPR concern. May I ask why you want to record it to understand how to answer better?

i had the same problem, when you come to click on open camcorder, nothing happens.Why you need to send a video of yourself to prove who you are, I don't know. My Driving licence pic doesn't look anything like myself anyway. hope you got it sorted eventually

Well it would be nice if the app did work like that but it doesn't. App is bloody useless.. try opening the camera to record video and every time just takes you straight to my photo gallery.

The APP presumes there is a great deal of IT literacy amongst the demographic that uses the Health Service the most. The video is too quick to retain all of the stages.
