Glad ya liked it Phil. Now that salsa I made will knock the top of your head off. But my son loves it hot so I make a batch of that for him now and then. Thanks for watching and for the comment.

Texas Style Cuisine yea I figured it was pretty hot. Seems dark red is hot, light red a little mild. Yours was very dark. Amazing how some people can take it. I like a little heat but not so hot it blisters my lips. Lol

Excellent! I have a lot of drying chili peppers from my garden and I will be trying this. I use ancho peppers quite a bit and always have them on hand too. Thanks for sharing this.

Easy and clear video instructions so thank you for that. I have a stock pile of Carolina Reaper and Bhut Jolokia dried chilli pods. I wasn't sure how to use them for cooking but making a Salsa /sauce will easily incorporate into my favourite dish of Beef Chilli I think hahaha.

I have another question? If you don't use all the rehydrated Chili Peppers, how would you store them? Thanks for a great video.

What heat did you use when heating the peppers to get the oil flowing again before the water? I have some old hard dried out Chile japones peppers will this process work? I need these peppers for a Chinese dish. Thanks
@TexasStyleCuisine3 жыл бұрын
I put my burner on medium hi. Just be careful so you do not burn them. Keep them moving. Those peppers should work just fine using this process. Thanks for watching.

What the hell is that mise en place? Clean your space, be organized... "Chef"... more like a line cook... Also...where's your greens? There's no color blends here, it's a basic salsa... If its not green, its obscene I could care less what anyone says about my comment for those reading, if he's serious about his career, he'll understand my issues with this video. I'm a Head Chef myself, and this just looks like a guy who has lost his passion for his food..
@TexasStyleCuisine5 жыл бұрын
lol, only items there are the ingredients and equipment to make that salsa and a garbage can. Flimed it start to finish. Nothing wrong with the work space at all. But hey thanks for commenting and sharing your opinion.
@jessesr36805 жыл бұрын
@@TexasStyleCuisine its cluttered, the knife stayed on the board the entire time, it's a sanitation issue to put your blender on the board, on the wide angle shot theres clearly clutter to your left, your spare time can be spent cleaning off your space, moving things to dish, and wiping down. I appreciate you listening to my criticism... But in a professional kitchen with a brigade that cares, this wouldn't fly. The fact that you say there is "nothing wrong with the work space" confirms to me that you may not be a professional chef. A Chef is the leader of a professional kitchen with ample experience and knowledge in the culinary industry. A Cook is anyone who can cook, professional or not. I personally take spite to people over using the term Chef.

It is a shot of making a salsa not a production line. That is all that was made. I think you are nitpicking. Instead of hunting things to be wrong check out the excellent salsa. You dont know allot about salsa if you do not know that all salsa does not have greens. Salsa chili de arbol and many others are made without the use of greens. A classic mexican salsa.

@@TexasStyleCuisine We're talking about Garnish.... Making the dish look appealing.. People eat with their eyes more than they do their mouths. I've just watched some of your recent videos as well, including your recent breakfast video.. not an ounce of seasoning was given to that. But thank you for confirming you're not a professional chef. Also yes, I am nitpicking... I'm a Chef, it's my job to nitpick. But for the sake of offering advice towards the video, next time try sun dried tomatoes, sub the mexican oregano for some fresh parsley, and add a little more seasoning to the mixture. Some dark chilli powder, or even tumeric could kick it up a bit more.Also hit it with some lime, will pop well.
@TexasStyleCuisine5 жыл бұрын
adding those ingredients would be a different salsa. You show you know very little about Mexican or Texican cuisine. The video was about rehydrating dried chili peppers. I added the salsa to show what to do with it. Yes there are many different ingredients you could add. Parsley probably not a salsa ingredient you will see in South Texas. I do not think I have ever seen turmeric in a salsa. Some salsas do have a citric element but not all. Some salsas that have acid use vinegar instead of a citric element. I probably would not add dark chili powder. Maybe smoked serrano, or an ancho powder there are to many other great chili powders you could use instead of dark chili powder. Turmeric is used in curries, you see it in aisan dishes maybe African dishes, not TexMex. As far as my Blackstone breakfast video goes, the scrambled eggs were salt and peppered I did mention that unless it was edited out. The hash browns had the same so yes they were seasoned. You have to realized much of what is filmed is edited out. Not everything makes the final cut. If I have a particualr recipe with allot of ingreadiets I will put the recipe in the description. If it is something basic I do not include it. I looked at your page all I see there are a few video games. I suggest you film some content and show how it is done. Again thanks for you opionion.
