Great videos, I'm trying to fix up a glove I used about 5 years ago, it's really dried out, nothing is too worn on it though. I think I'm going to have to replace the laces.. but I was wondering about some of the finger straps that a lot of gloves have. Usually the thumb or index finger... what would you suggest to do about that?

Where can I find that U-needle? I want to relace my glove and I have that stupid Rawlings one with the red handle you were talking about. After watching this vid and the other one where you relaced the fingers only it is much, much quicker. Thanks! I just need to relace my fingers for now. I would like to relace the entire glove but I need to find somewhere to buy more lace in bulk. The little Rawlings packs at the sporting goods store are only pieces that are 48 inches long.

@dontkillmepeas sure you can use a shoelace....you can drive a car with your eyes closed too, but that doesn't make it a good idea...lol...you can get enough glove lace for like $10.

I would NOT recommend taking your glove to a big name retailer like Dicks or Academy Sports or anything along those line because most times they are going to do a cheap job on it because they dont care. If you want your glove to be relaced back to it original state and maintain its longevity I would recommend finding a shop that specializes in glove repairs, maybe search online because their are many such as www.gloverepair.com that do outstanding jobs on complete glove repair.
