Went looking last week for .22lr rounds here in Tucson. Been telling my Dad how expensive and scarce theyve been getting everytime he asked. We went to a gun store on the outskirts of town after we called and they said they had them. They had 6 boxes total. 3 50 round boxes for $17 and 3 525 round boxes that were handwritten labels for $72.50. I figured they were expensive but I was surprised to see them the same price as my 5.56 rounds from a few years ago, which are now .90 cents a round. My dad was shocked and said how he used to pay the $17 for the 50 box, to get a 500 round brick. Told him those days were long gone. He then became convinced that he would find much cheaper ones online, which we didnt. Gun store was still cheaper by $8 and that was before any shipping or hazmat charges. He kept telling me to change my search criteria as if it would magically reveal a hidden deal. It took a while for it to sink in to him that, "No matter how many times I change it, the same results keep coming up and that's just what it is." Dems doing backdoor gun control and likely stirring panic on purpose not just on this subject, but many. "Never let a crisis go to waste." To which I add "Even if you have to create one."

Hi I have just made a very rough pair of opening pliers that will make it easier to pack the priming compound into the rim and it works really fine. I would like to show some Photos and a video but I have now idea of where and how to do it

Even if it makes no sense at all to reload .22 long rifle, it's still good that there are tools for it.

If the kit is reasonably priced maybe you put it and the required supplies away. There may well come a time where reloading 22lr doesn't seem a waste of time.

You don't, you just hope the pin don't strike the same place twice.

You can just use a punch, 22lr reloader says that the priming compound will flow into that previous strike point, even if you hit it again, it'll go bang. ....most of the time i guess

You can just leave them, If by some miracle you end up hitting the same spot, just twist the casing and it should fire. I have heard of people using really small punches, or precision screwdrivers to get the dent out but I don't know how well it works.

It comes with a bullet mold. It has a single 38 grain mold and a 25 grain mold.

Stupid to be self reliant in case there's a time in which ammo isnt available at cheap prices, if its even available at all? yeah, no this isn;'t a video about how to reload 22lr , but rather a deceptively titled gimmicky advertisement because it's a narrative that only includes get spent casings and clean them out with our tool and then skips to using another tool to tamp down an unspecifede amount of primer that it didn't show putting in the casings and then "let them dry".
