Late reply, if anyone could help. Is there a detailed video or explanation on how to wire in the db9 connector to the gauge? I do have the aem installed, thank you!

I had my tuner remote into my ECU when I was at the track last week and do a few tweaks. I had to make sure he was available before hand
@JacksonStrain4 жыл бұрын
Thats a great way of doing and whilst being at the track you would be able to constant WOT pulls without having to worry about police or traffic ect

@@JacksonStrain after my build I handed my car to the tuner and spent a bit with him so I'm still running on a bit of warranty to get it right. Im about to run another attenuator spring and push a bit more power about 7k so another tune tweak coming

@@JacksonStrain the fun is in the developing, where you get to enjoy your mods and the improvement they make to the car, where else my mate will have his golf r for a couple of years then get sick of it and buy something else.

@@jethrox827 yeah exaclty as much as I'd love a comfy rattle free golf r I know id get bored in it and would miss the handling and rawness of the Evo

Do you know if this could be used to reprogram the abs pump? or change the vin. I recently replaced my abs in my lancer and i need to initialize it and im having trouble finding out how to do that.

I think you'd need the Mitsubishi mut software to be honest

I usually would get it done in a few hours but all depends on the tuner

@@JacksonStrain 3rd gear pulls? do you remember what’s after that or its all done
@JacksonStrain11 ай бұрын
@@sinfulm the entire process starting with logging idle, then motorway cruising then general driving before doing the 3rd gear pulls. If you have a tuner who's willing to stay online and do this entire process with you it can be done in one night

Hello Jackson, the computer you are using… Is it greater than a i3 or i5 processor? Im trying to learn the tuning aspects on my Evo X MR, albeit , I feel some of the opinions in my local area seem to say I need a new laptop and I recently seen a used laptop with a i5 processor with windows 10 I can get at a very affordable price. imo , instead of wasting money on a brand new laptop , I can keep it for my clutch pack upgrade savings I’d like to do over the winter.

Ho to be honest I'm not sure it was a really cheap notebook I got for more wife to do some online courses and is pretty slow even browsing the internet on so definitely nothing special or expensive

Hey guys hopefully you enjoy the video and find it helpful, sorry about the low audio on one of the clips as it seems my microphone stopped working and so its just the cameras microphone recording for thay section which is much quieter than the rest l
