Can the 2AZ-FE engine be removed without the "Manaul transmission" on 2007 Camry. Is there enough clearance due to the clutch assembly compare to A/T transmission only has the fly wheel. Thanks for sharing.

Is there anyway to prevent or stop oil sludge in this particular engine? Because its a common problem with it.

You can try a piston soak with seafoam which might help for a while, but eventually the oil burning might return. The only real solution is to rebuild with upgraded pistons that have larger oil return holes that don't get clogged up or get a remanufactuered engine that already has the upgraded pistons, but for that price plus labor it might be worth it to get another camry, but get a v6 instead.

I tried a piston soak with Berryman Chemtool B12 at 212k miles, but I think it's too strong of a cleaner because then the engine spun a bearing even though I did an oil change before taking it for a drive.

Change your oil and filter every 6000miles and never mix your oil with a different one and see what your owners manual says to use...

manual transmission is different than automatic, the torch converter is not helping to give you space to separate both engine and transmission

I just installed the new engine(50k-60k mile as said by a seller) successfully, but couldn’t accelerate. 2000rpm is the maximum it can go. And, the steering wheel doesn’t spin smoothly and has so noisy sound like the steering power fluid doesn’t come through. How can i fix please? Toyota camry 2003

Then why do all 5 mechanics where i live tell me it's going to cost around $1000 for 15 hours of labor to swap an engine in our camry plus $2500 for a remanufactuered engine? I also don't understand why they won't just replace bearings without doing the crankshaft or getting a remanufactuered engine when it was only driven one mile with a spun bearing. They all said the crankshaft would be damaged, but I've seen youtube videos where people replace bearings without replacing the crankshaft and they just polish the crankshaft by hand with sandpaper or cheese cloth.

These come out from bottom not top lol , could have just dropped sub frame and rolled the whole assembly around after you removed the harness and lines

@@MayoCarsDR because that’s how it is done . You wasted prob hour messing with it . Drop the struts sub frame and exhaust . Takes like 2 hours total and you can get to everything on the floor .
