If it’s print on vinyl it should hopefully work. That said, I actually like Dr Pepper… well, the drink at least!

Wow, thank you. I thought that acetone would dissolve vinyl. I am going to try acetone on a small vinyl spot and wait a few days and examine the vinyl for damage. If no damage, yippee, I will remove the stupid advertising logo. However, I do have to criticize your method of applying acetone to the rag. You contaminated the whole container of acetone. You should have poured the acetone out of the container directly onto a thick portion of the rag; thus keeping contaminates out of the container. Also, you do not know how to use a rag. You should fold up the rag and use one surface at a time until that surface area has absorbed all the logo paint that it will hold, then unfold the rag to a new area and etc.. The chemical method you are using is called "rag" chromatography such that the dissolved logo pigments travel into the rag by capillary action and changes in surface tension wetting adhesion adsorption or absorption.

Well, clearly you have expertise in this. Me on the other hand, I only bought the acetone for this so no concerns over potential contamination. Also, I can confirm the vinyl I applied this to is still good to this day so I personally experienced no issues. As for rag technique, sounds good if you’re not holding a camera in one hand 😀
