HOW TO Remove a Power Steering Pump Pulley using hand tools in under 5 minutes

My 75 ford has an allen bolt in the center shaft of the PS pump. I wonder if i still need the tool?

It’s a must have in my opinion. I’ve seen people get the pulley off without specialty tools but it looks a lot more work/stress! This is the way to do it. 👍🏼

You got that right! Air tools make it easier but I wanted to show it was possible with simple hand tools.

It has a lot more to do with corrosion than the model you are working on. Get some PlanetSafe AIM to make it easier. Link in the description.

Had a pump installed but now I have a annoying sound of loud crickets, is annoying and embarrassing on my econoline , something needs adjusting, once a mech. fixed it 4 me years ago on a noisy pully

Hahaha. It wasn’t too bad even with hand tools. Having the correct tools is key though. An air gun would have made this even easier. It only took 10 minutes really. 🤷🏼‍♂️😜
