You can make your own "Polish Restorer" by mixing equal parts of 4 ingredients; olive oil, denatured alcohol, white vinegar, and turpentine. Shake to keep the contents mixed-----it should look like yellow soda-pop. Apply this in a circular motion using a mild abrasive such as fine-grade steel wool. Afterward clean up any debris and then finish with a final coating of the yellow stuff, but this time use a soft cloth to buff it in. It'll look nice!

00 gauge steel wool is very fine. Maybe try it on a non visible test section.
