You video says that Teak Oil is toxic and should not be used on any surfaces coming in to contact with food, however most manufactures say that their Teak Oil product is generally okay for food contact ONCE FULLY DRIED. Can you please comment on this?

If you need a food safe wood finish, I would recommend Mineral oil, Tung oil, Raw linseed oil, and Walnut oil. Once thoroughly cured, these are completely food-safe. Still want to use teak oil - I recommend checking the label. If it's marked food safe you can go with it.
