I can usually get them off using a dryer belt and a 5lb lump hammer wrapped around the handle and yank yank yank but I just came off a job and it won’t pull off For now on, All hub jobs are getting an impeller sold I’m tired of killing myself on this junk Thanks for the video too! Yeah I have tried pretty much everything, yes BarKeepers Friend helps a great deal. Yes I agree I normally charge for a new one

I'd say whirlpool dropped the ball on the engineering of these. Mine is impossible to get off, tried everything, even a ratchet strap

The best way is use rust remover to break down the bonding. I promise you it comes off. Posting a link/name

It depends, but I agree because it normally breaks. The sad part is, the washer isn’t expensive and now you’re another expense . This washer was for resale
