That worked really well! My neighbors burn white oaks, yet are still there as burnt stumps. I did the chainsaw pie method four sections through the roots after digging around two red oaks, only because it was a trail on a hill. Plunge cut and a large wedge. Too much work. So nice when they are gone! I am going to try this and have plenty of water on hand next time. Thanks for posting.

Ive got a newly removed tree stump out, but now I've got mushrooms popping up all over my yard. And not the edible kind either
