How to remove and insert M&RIE Microphone filter

This video will show you how to remove and insert a M&RIE microphone filter.
To replace the M&RIE microphone filter, you will need a new microphone filter tool. The one end of the replacement tool is used to remove the old microphone filter and the other end has a new filter attached.
To remove the mic filter, follow these steps:
1. The M&RIE microphone filter is found on the back of the receiver.
2. Use the removal side of the microphone filter tool.
3. Insert the removal tip into the used microphone filter.
4. Pull the microphone filter tool away from the receiver in a straight angle.
5. The old filter will now be attached to the tool.
To insert a new mic filter, follow these steps:
1. Use the other side of the microphone filter tool with the new filter attached.
2. The M&RIE microphone filter is found on the back of the receiver.
3. Insert the other end of the tool with the replacement filter, into the microphone opening.
4. Gently press the new filter into place.
5. Pull the tool straight out, leaving the new microphone filter in place.
6. Ensure the new M&RIE microphone filter is correctly installed.
