Great spring video but even though I purchased your spring removing tool, the broken off flush with the post spring on my Gemeinhardt 33sb flute will not budge. It almost looks like the flare end of the post is soldered over where the broken spring should come out. Even with magnification it Almost appears that their is no exit hole in the post. Are these springs permanent unless drilled out as shipped from the factory? Any other tools you could suggest? I bought your spring removal plyers at about $50. James Howe

🎉#Springremoving 🎉 Don’t the flat springs come in different thicknesses? I always wear safety goggles when trimming springs😉. If not I throw a it over it when cutting. The “U” or dovetail you’re making the width of the post🤯

Yes they do! Here's a link to the flat springs: www.musicmedic.com/products/repair-supplies/springs/stainless-steel-flat-springs.html For the U, we're making the length of the peen so that it fits completely in the length of the post, we're not trying to make it so wide that we really have to jam it in here, as that can distort the spring hole.

Can you please help me with the measurements of a tenor saxophone LxWxD the bell diameter and the distance it bottom to the top of the Bell please 👏. I'm trying to make a bag with it please your help will go a long way

Are you making a case or a bag? Bell diameters can vary so this would be good to know.
