Just completed installing the sensor last night, and wanted to say thanks for the completeness of your video. I watched a few other channels where they replaced the sensor, but you’re the only tech who mentioned the 90 degree pick to take off the safety latch. It took a few minutes, but I never would have gotten it off without your advice. Getting the harness back in the new sensor was a pain, but I was able to get it done, and the wife’s Acadia is running great (a/c is blasting now). Again, great job, and thanks again!

Thanks so much, very helpful and my car is back in business again. This worked on our 2016 Acadia Denali, btw.

Thank you so much Dan. My Acadia had the exact same problem and I wouldn't have been able to fix it without this video.

What a horseshit location for that sensor, right above a hot manifold? I'm sure the engineers are sitting on a beach somewhere with their toes in the sand laughing it up at us poor schmucks. I hate working on these. Good video!

How did you do the coolant flush on it.

Long drawn-out video , but still helpful.... 👍 Thanks..... Also, besides the p0119 code my temp guage dies and my cooling-fan stays running.

The center tab on the harness is broken. It will not come off the sensor. Any other way to remove it?

Hi bro, we are looking for collaborators for our new taillights. Are you interested in testing them out?

Of all the places, they put that thing right next to exhaust manifold. Gotta love GM engineers

If the pick doesn't get the red tab off a paint can opener works just as good

I dont understand why you would flush the cooling system first to see if it fixed it, if the fault codes are related to the electrical system.

Good job but you left out something...you didn't mention that you removed the plastic covering that allowed you to use two hands.. After watching this like three times I realized that you removed it...lol..took 5 mins to replace after that...before I struggled for an HR before giving up....

My engine light hasn’t come on yet but my temp goes to 160 and engine fan kicks on while driving... I can get it to fix itself after shutting down engine (the fan continues to run). I’m thinking I need anew sensor.
