I need some help. I got one and for some reason whenever i try to close it. It just goes up again. Like when i push it down, no matter how long, it goes back up. I got mine at christmas last year. I do not know if i need a new one or what to do. Plus sometimes it falls off then i gotta put it back in perfectly under the 4 tiny corners. But yeah won't close, keeps popping back up. Wtf am i suppose to do? And it has nothing to do with the base

Thanks for this video! I was hoping it was going to be a simple fix and it is! This morning, I realized that my phone was overheating because my phone case had shifted and was I guess holding the power button down so I wanted to get a new case and take my popsocket off the old one and put it on the new one. Now I know how to do it!

Adhesive always removes best when heated. I would recommend, in addition to doing what is said in the video, to heat your case up (NOT WITH THE PHONE IN IT) using a blow dryer. Be sure to heat both sides of the case. Should make this process a bit easier.

Always when prying something off, if you don't want to scratch/damage the materials, use a plastic prying tool or credit card to do the job. Plastic doesn't scratch metal, glass or hard plastic!
