The anti-reflective/anti-glare coating on my glasses had degraded over the last few years to the point where they were hard to see through.
It seemed that they were only good for the bin. However I noticed that I could scrape some of it off with my fingernails. The rest wouldn't budge.
After a bit of Googling, it seemed toothpaste and an electric toothbrush was recommended. So after a quick test that showed promise, here is a proper attempt to remove it fully from one of the lenses.
I've shown the full process on one of the lenses (on right hand side of video). It worked well! So will now apply to the other side - but I don't think you need to watch that one too...
Update: Glad to report that all worked well on both sides - and the visibility is as good as new!
