Hi there! Audacity has a built-in effect called "Vocal Reduction and Isolation" which you can try to use for this purpose. Just select the audio you want to remove vocals from and go to Effect > Vocal Reduction and Isolation. Choose the Remove Vocals preset in the dialog box and hit OK. Audacity will process the audio and remove the vocals. You can preview and tweak the settings too. I hope that helps!

If the noise reduction effect in Audacity is lowering your voice, it might be because the tool is having trouble distinguishing between your voice and the background noise. Try adjusting the settings of the noise reduction effect to better isolate your voice. Alternatively, you can use the ‘Amplify’ or ‘Normalize’ effects to increase the volume of your voice. However, these effects will also amplify any noise, so it’s best to use them after applying noise reduction. Don't forget to create a backup of your original recording before applying any effects. Oh no! When removing background noise, make sure that you're only selecting the 'noise profile' and not the entire audio track. Why it doesn't work for me...? I select 2 sec of noise and set the noise profile than select entire track and apply.. did the process like 3 times even increasing db and that click noise still there..useless software
