Thanks for the great video!! I honestly wouldn't have thought that JD would have made it so difficult to replace the battery. It's clear that the engineers that designed this either had never worked on anything themselves or they were told to run up shop time to replace the battery.

Thank you for showing this video. I’m on the fence of a 3025e or a Kubota lx2610. I’ve owned both brands before and I do my own maintenance, so easy access is important to me. Deere needs to fire whatever engineer came up with that idea for battery access.

Is the removable of the battery and/or battery cables the same for the 2025R? Great videos. You really do a great job explaining the process in all of your videos. Far better than Deere’s notebook videos. Which by the way are terrible.

It's a shame the way JD buries the battery on some of it's tractors. A tractor is utilitarian and the battery should be easily accessible for jumping, attaching accessories, being jumped or maintenance. If you think the 3043D is bad, check out the battery location on some of the Gators. Totally ridiculous.
