This is another exciting day of "Paranormal Hairtivity". As you know Bunny (Grav3yardgirl) has been wanting to remove the black streaks on her hair for 2 years now. Thanks to her patience and perseverance we were able to achieve her hair goals after 7 hours to go back to her natural blonde hair!

Tabby Doulin You do know this man spends an entire day if he has to right? Take that into consideration, and its really not THAT pricey at all. I pay about half for a 3-3,5 hour session. Even more so his Balayage means you don't have to go get it fixed - EVER. Since you can choose your own colour at the bottom and then it will grow out gracefully with no roots. Money well spent if you ask me. You do also NOT get this treatment at every hair salon - no matter how expensive, its about talent. I can attest to this. I am saving up to come see him from the other side of the world - (combined with vacation I hope in less than 1-2 years) I just HOPE i can get in as he doesn't take new clients.

Her hair looked so much healthier than when she started! I think you have an amazing product here. I am retired but really wish this had been around when I was still doing hair. Taking black to blond has always been one of the most damaging,semi impossible requests. When you add in the dyed black plus who knows what all has been applied on to hair that has been on her head for 15 plus years, the margin for error is massive. I hated doing color for exactly that! You never know how much waxy product, harsh home products like SunIn, then throw in years of flat iron, blow drying, sometimes old perms, that hair has been abused by the time you get any real length. I love the application technique as well! You aren't going to get harsh roots with that technique. Good for you Guy Tang! Old school ways had color clients returning every 6-8 weeks for maintenance + increased income. I never thought that was good hair care or good math because you make color so daunting that instead of maintenance we have people walking around looking like they've been dipped in paint! The experience was so dreadful that clients would think they had to grow the whole thing out because it was not possible to remove the old color in a healthy appearing way that didn't leave yet another root line to grow out! Sadly some people do not understand that hair is dead, you can only make it appear healthy, you cannot "heal" dead stuff. You have found a way to remove all of the old years of hair torture & make it look like you have found the "cure"! FANTASTIC!

I love what Guy managed to make of Bunnys hair. The result is amazing. However, I often have trouble watching his videos because of all the screaming and silly faces which are so far from my calm state of mind that I don't get why one would be or act so hyper on camera. I mean, does this seem funny to most of his watchers? It's really a question, I'm curious. I personally find it very stressful to watch. But Guy is one of a kind in technique, so I watch anyway to learn something new.

Honestly? I'm down with it. I don't find it 'funny' as such but it's a 7 hour + process of painting and washing hair over and over again and it makes perfect sense that Guy would need to keep his energy up to get both himself and his client (who is essentially just sitting there) through it, not to mention that the videos would be considerably more boring if he just said in a flat tone 'now I'm putting in the colour stripper. Now I'm washing the hair. Now I'm doing another lot of stripper. Now I'm washing it out again. Now I'm cutting it to even it out. Ok that's done, I'm going to put in the lightener. I've put in the lightener. Now I'm going to wash it out. Now I'm putting in some toner. I chose gold toner. Now I'm washing it out. Done.'

Thanks for answering honestly. Yeah I get that, however I personally would find it more relaxing than boring if he kept a cooled-down, informative tone throughout the video. Also I guess I wouldn't mind if the videos in total were a little shorter. But I guess that's just personal preferences and if most enjoy his videos as they are, I can't complain :) I can still watch the videos mute.

I'm a more sedate personality type and most days I like the 180 degree difference of his personalitiy compared to mine.. If I'm not in the mood for antics I just turn the volume down. I subscribe to just about every social media outlet he uses, most recently adding Periscope for Android where you get to watch the antics LIVE no less...lol

***** Well aside from being stressful to watch for some people, my problem is also trying to understand where that crazily-overdone tone comes from or why there is a need to apply it at all. A part of me thinks it might be similar to a stage persona, a face you put on so you're comfortable out there where thousands of people throw criticism at you. Or if someone throws hate at you, you can at least feel like the hate isn't on really on you as you never show the real you. Just a guess though.
