Hi, are you still going to make the video of dissecting the side panel? I’m interested if it was put together without stitching?

Hey Chris, Sorry for the delayed response, I'm up camping for the week. Yes, I am going to post the side panel video... it's going to be a long video, I recorded it step by step, in my anal opinion they came out great... I'm still working on the editing, I will put it out as soon as I can. Thanks for watching!!

I have the same boat, Have any videos how to add rear seating? where it u shapes on both sides. I Like your videos, keep up the good work bud.

thank you for the great feedback! The rear seats on my boat were not bolted down they were made to be removable. However the back reset was attached to the fiberglass, and if I remember correctly they had to nuts that needed to be removed on each side. Hope that helps, good luck with your boat!!

So have you ever separated the top of boat from the bottom to get to screws??

I'm thinking since all upholstery panels that are around the open part of the boat are ripped and the wood keeping it together is rotted I was wandering would I be a able to just remove it all and fill in the holes, I'm pretty sure the panels are just are wood wrapped in vinyl and then screwed onto the fiberglass and there not very big piece either what do you guys think?

I have a weird question. I have a bayliner and my sofa panels are aweful nasty shape. To be honest I do not want to replace them, but I was pondering the idea of just painting the walls with the non slip rubber paint. Can anyone give some tips on what to do. Pretty please

I’m not sure I understand 100% exactly what you are trying to do. If you are talking about painting over the existing vinyl cushions with a non-skid rubberized paint I would think that might be a possibility however if you have tears in the vinyl than those tears would still probably be a point of issue even after painted. Not sure if the chemical components of the rubberized paint would further breakdown the vinyl. If you are talking about removing the vinyl and the padding and just painting the existing wood with a rubberized paint than that might work better, however, with no padding my guess is it would be really uncomfortable. Even if you are just talking about painting the side panels it may be uncomfortable as there is a tendency to lean against the side panels and with the padding gone and the boat bouncing around on the water it may be uncomfortable. Just remember if you remove the padding and throw it away it’s really expensive to replace if the painting did not turn out.

I am trying to figure out if there is a easier way to install side panels. I have basically the same Bayliner
@MileHighCampers6 жыл бұрын
I ended up reinstalling the panels the way they were installed... however, there maybe a better way by using these. Check out this link: www.sailrite.com/BeauClip-Panel-Mounting-System-Black?gclid=Cj0KCQjw2f7bBRDVARIsAAwYBBt1ARoQ7rrh2Hr_O58clkdDqwCTPLYqkz1bISMSTtEi87jGvZgdmZAaAlBrEALw_wcB
