how to remove bus door alarm and still start the bus conversion episode 13. This video will show you how to remove the back door safety switch on your bus and still be able to start it. this is a dreaded topic for lots of people doing a bus conversion or building a skoolie because if you dont get it right you want be able to start the bus and it can be a real headache. I am no expert but I was able to remove that dreaded back door safety switch on my bus and re wire things so that the bus starts with no issues. I even going to use the wire that needs to be grounded as a kill switch for the bus. It will be in a hidden spot so if it is not switched to ground the bus will not start,

One thing that really gets on my nerves is people that don't make the distinction between cranking and starting there's a distinct difference between the two and we need to know what that difference is!!!

On the second switch what is happening is that the switch being pressed completes a ground circuit. This is probably to activate a relay in the circuitry. It is a very common means of wiring safety circuits so that you don't have a hot wire running long distances which could become shorted.

Hello, its seems I am learning the hard way and I have neglected this step and have cut all my wires in the back and now my bus wont start. It looks like your bus here in this video is very similar and Ive notice some of the same wire numbers. Any advice on what to do?
