Bro the only time you touch a cactus is if you fall like on the biking trail. I remember in April of 2023 I was biking on some trails near my house with my adult cousin. And I was going on a bump and I fell on a paddle cactus. It hurt so bad (manned up and didn't cry). I had to bike home shirtless with spines in my him thigh knee and all over my elbow. I'm so Arizonian that I can touch a cactus with out getting hurt.

As an arizonian this is the weirdest way ever to get spines out. The only cactus thats going to leave spines in you is a cholla (usually the "jumping") and the only 2 ways to get those out are hairbrushes or pliers. Only time ive seen someone get spines in them from something else was when they tried to eat a prickly pear before taking the spines out.
