Your video was very informative but I would like your input please. I have a 2008 BMW X5, no sound at all, also I used optical bypass & everything checked out. I think it’s the ask unit. Sometimes the radio come on for a few seconds & shuts off. The other day while driving, I hit a bump & it came on for a few seconds but shut off again.

The problem is your Radio/CD player in the dash board.

@@HiTechElectronic thanks buddy, I was also looking towards the amp which is not fiber optic. But I will change the radio. Now when I turn the car on it sound for a bit & turn off again.👍🏼👍🏼

Noticed that this radio sells with & without face plate electronics. Most without face. ???

I changed the radio & same issue. Turns out it was due to water getting in. My drivers side carpets are soaked, due to sunroof drainage. Unblocked the drainage holes & pulled up carpets on driver’s side. Hoping when everything dries out things will be back to normal.
