How to Remove Central Heating Radiator Covers and Grill

Brilliant video. Looked at other videos but they didn’t explain how to get the bottom bit off, this one did. My radiator was full of 20yrs of dust and pet hair, now it’s sparkly clean. Thanks

Thanks for the tip. Helped me out a lot. I had slightly different radiator stoppers. That took some getting out. But radiators now clean and ready to paint. I'm decorating my whole apartment from top to bottom. So your tip saved me some headaches. I'll show a photo once it's painted.

I’m having to use so much force to get the top bit off the entire radiator is lifting so I dare not use more. I’m sure it’s never been taken apart and is so old, I mean all the plastic bits are so old they’re so brittle they’ve all snapped at the slightest bend so far

What is the plastic bit that's on the bottom by the pipe called? The one you need to push forward to get the side cover to pop off?
