How to remove curling in Tunisian crochet projects [CC]

You can completely eliminate the curl by turning the work. For this you will need a double-ended hook, or two hooks connected with a cable. Also, two separate skeins of yarn. At the end of the forward pass, turn the work and work the return pass and next forward pass with one skein. Turn the work. Attach the other skein and work return and forward passes. Turn the work. Repeat. You can see how to do this by watching a KZbin video on making a reversible tunisian crochet shawl. You will use skeins of different colors. It’s really fun and easy!

Yes, you could make a non-curling reversible fabric if you have a double-ended hook, but this is for projects worked flat with a single ended hook.

Thank you for these tips. I just learned how to do tunisian simple stitch. I took out the project and restarted using square pattern. I will learn how to use one of these stitches as a border before sowing them together. Ill take pictures of my progress. Again thank you.

I just put a damp towel over the project, run an iron over the towel, problem solved.
