Hey FG Mods. I've got a G6e and I don't really like the gold ICC as it just looks like sun damaged silver. I'd love the piano black ICC (I have one on hand) but the backlight is blue. Can I change this to white by swapping out the buttons on my gold ICC to the piano black, or do I swap the circuit board?

Hi i wanted to ask a question about the centre console power outlet. Where does the cable run through? my adapter doesnt seem to work, and i dont know if its due the the adapter itself or the outlet.

My cdplayer seems to make an odd sound when I turn the ignition to ON and also when I turn the ignition back to ACC. I think there may be a cd stuck in. Any way to remove these cds? Or disable the cd player entirely?

Also should limit the contact to the PCBs as oil on our hands MAY deteriorate them over time

If you touch the PCBs just use 100 percent isopropyl alcohol to clean it.

Okay, but do you need to remove the circuit board in order to replace the volume knob or can that be done without disassembling the whole icc??

You have to disassemble everything. It’s all connected.

I need help, I have a 09 Ford xr6 and I have a stock icc unit. I wanted to have it upgraded to a coloured screen, some people are saying it can be done, an others are saying I need to have a custom one made. I can’t afford $$ big money spent on a custom icc unit. I just wanted a coloured screen. Any advice please. Thanks

Yeah, I've looked in to it, but there seems to be a lot of people who have had serious issues with them. So unless they sent me a unit to review I'll probably find an alternate unit to put in.

@@jeremy5328b Im pretty sure its almost the exact same process, but more wires to disconnect. I also think you need an OBDII memory saver, plugs in and connects a 9v battery to it so you dont fry your screen the first time you remove it. I could be wrong, but im always open to learning haha
