Thanks for the video!! Life saver or at least several hour saver in not having to remove the window like other videos I’ve seen. Drilling the hole in the fiberglass was simple fix and easy to do to get to the nuts. Now my handles are on there way to paint. White for my white Jeep.! 😁

The grease definitely works to help keep the nut on the socket.

When you screw up and drop the nut in the door, it’s an M5-0.8 Replace, don’t fish. #you’rewelcome

Can just use some painters tape over the socket opening and it keeps the nut snug as a bug in the socket. No need to make a mess with the grease

In the rust belt, the door handles tend to stick. You have to pull the handle, clean and grease the steel guide rod and replace.

Or you might be replacing the thumb button handles with pull release handles.
