As per my personal experience Google is not behind or against AI Content, it only wants you to provide quality content. Example, I also published AI content, it is ranking well, no hit, no rank down, but the difference was that my AI Content I reviewed if that all information is written correctly, after ensuring it is valuable information, I published it. My AIM behind using AI Content was not fill the website with lots of content, but as being in full time job it's difficult to write all content at my own, I create briefs and took AI Help to complete the content writing part.

Whi 1 site jo kuch dino pehle start kiya uske saare article abhi v rank kr rhe hai, uspr juchh effect nhi pda, uspr articles v km hai waise. Pta nahi ab new domains lekr kaam kru, ya wait kru.
