It is recommended to install AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery for A3 since it has an Auto engine start-stop function. AGM batteries are made for frequent charging and discharging cycles.

Yes. And when you are going to buy one, you can ask about it and the most batteries which fit with these cars comes with AGM

You can replace the battery, but you will need to configure it using a scanner. No need to be OBD11

No it didn't, but my stop start function stop working, probably i might have changed it bit early.

Yes..It might not.. Usually i turn off Stop start function while driving so I am also looking forward to see how long it can hold.. 🤔

You can set the auto stop/start function to stay off with obd11 😉
